| My name is Val, and I just traded in my Electric Green (with white tape stripe) 2000 mustang 6 cyl. for a Legend Lime 2006 Mustang GT. I loved my little 6 cyl. pony, and over the course of 172,000 miles I had to spend exactly $0 on mechanical bills for things beyond wear and tear items (brake rotors, pads, oil changes, transmission flush, etc). I was hoping to see if my 2000 could make it to 200,000 miles but the harsh winter we had this year in Minneapolis created some crater-like potholes. After a season of driving to and from work over the Minneapolis Moonscape, my front suspension was shot and my transmission was making some truly awful sounds. I wasn't going to buy another Mustang because you can't get them in green anymore, and I'm just a sucker for a green car.... but when I spotted that legend lime '06 GT at the Ford dealer's lot, I couldn't help myself. I decided I didn't need a brand new Mustang -after all, there's nothing wrong with owning a car that comes with some experience under its belt. So I sent my little 2000 pony off to other pastures (the dealership's fresh trade row -it will probably go direct to the auto auction with the kind of miles it has on it -which breaks my heart a bit). I haven't taken delivery of my new pony yet because I'm having seat heaters installed (an absolute necessity if you're going to have a leather interior in Minnesota) and an MP3 jack put in place. Should be done this weekend. |

| My name is David. I'm the proud owner of an Amazon Green (aka Tropic Green) 2003 V6 Pony Package convertible which I drive around Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I just love the car and after 8 years as a daily driver it still turns heads. It's a real conversation starter, even at red lights, stuck in traffic, and with US customs officials. There are two things I love about the color: - I don't pass myself at every intersection
- It looks amazing, especially with the parchment top and leather interior.
I was doing some research on green Mustang production numbers and stumbled across this site. A green Mustang registry is a great idea! Heck, if those yellow guys can have one, why can't we? We're a lot rarer. |

| Hey Ryan, Glad you joined, we definitely need to do a photoshoot with the stangs soon.
JMD---My stang has about 141,000 on it so I am right up there with you and I agree it's always fun to drive.
I still find myself getting all giddy and excited when I drive mine as if it's the first day I bought it. |

| Just found the website. I used to own a 1999 Electric Green Mustang V6 Auto Coupe, but it was totaled due to a semi truck hitting me with it's trailer. But I picked another up last year, this time a 2000 Electric Green Mustang V6 Auto Convertible w/ White top. Have always loved the color, and love the Green/White colors together. My coupe had the white side stripes, and I had painted the side/front scoop inserts white. |
