Ok so I have found out that some of our members have some interesting car names, so I would like everyone to tell us the name of your car and how it came about. I figured this would be something fun to see the variety of names for everyone's beautiful Mustangs.

Mine is Sheldon and I came up with that because of Shelby, however I decided on Sheldon because my mustang is a male, yes I know strange because most cars are female, but I wanted to be different I guess.

The name of my pony is Greeny. not very original, but it seems to work for my wife.

I decided to name mine mustang sally.... lol... i did that because right after i bought it and was driving it home that is the first song that player on the radio, and i thought it fit. [img][/img]

My 2000 Mustang was named "Pokey" because it was the little 6 cylinder model, which is slower than the GT (Pokey is also the name of Gumby's horse, now that I think about it, which is also appropriate, given that it is a Mustang). Haven't named the GT I traded up for yet, but I'm leaning toward "Gretta" -I'm not really sure why that name just came to me while I was looking at the car before I bought it, though I did get a song by the Nields called "gotta get over Gretta" stuck in my head while I was negotiating price with the sales guy.
